Night Guard/Sport Guard
Service Description
A Night Guard, usually custom-made by a dentist, is designed to protect teeth from the effects of teeth grinding or bruxism during nighttime. It is a comfortable plastic device worn on the teeth to prevent grinding, alleviate jaw tension, and reduce associated tooth and jaw muscle pain. A Sport Guard is also a custom-made oral appliance, typically crafted by a dentist or oral specialist. Its purpose is to protect the mouth from injuries, particularly to the teeth and oral soft tissues, during sports activities. Sport guards are commonly used during competitions or exercise to effectively reduce the risk of dental and oral injuries that can occur during physical activities. Both of these devices contribute to maintaining oral health, alleviating various oral issues, and providing additional protection and comfort. * The first appointment will need to be booked with "New Patient Consultation" or "Emergency Within 24hrs appointment".
